Laurence D. Landau, DPM
Laurence Landau, DPM has been practicing Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in the NY Metro Area for over 15 Years.
He currently serves as the Past President of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, Nassau Division and has a seat on the executive board of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, Manhattan Division. He is also the co-director of the residency program in foot and ankle surgery starting at St. Joseph Hospital, a member of Catholic Health System.
Dr. Landau is a panel physician at the St. Joseph Hospital wound care center in Bethpage, where he practices wound care and hyperbaric medicine. He is also on staff at North shore Manhasset, Long Island Jewish and North shore Plainview hospitals. Dr. Landau has been a panel physician in wound care for over 6 years.
Dr. Landau is dually board certified in wound care. He is a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American Board of Wound Healing. His expertise in this field is well known to the many physicians in New York State who refer him their most difficult cases.
Dr. Landau grew up in Valley Stream, NY and attended Valley Stream South High School where he graduated in 1981. Dr. Landau graduated from Clark University in 1985 with a B.A. in Biology. He went on to study biology on the graduate level at Columbia University the following year. In 1992 he graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree. He went on to two years of residency training in Podiatric medicine and surgery, the second year at Wyckoff Heights Hospital and New York Hospital Queens, a Cornell University program, under director Dr. Charles Lombardi.
Dr. Landau is on site at our office in Bethpage Monday thru Friday, hours by appointment. He is also in the Franklin Square office on Fridays and by appointment.
He practices all aspects Podiatry, Podiatric medicine and surgery. He accepts most major insurance plans and treats all conditions and problems of the foot and ankle from the simplest to the most complex using conservative as well as surgical techniques and therapies.
Corrine E. Renne, DPM
Corrine E. Renne, DPM has been practicing Podiatric Medicine and surgery in the NY Metro Area for 11 years.
She currently serves as the President of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association, Brooklyn Division, she also serves as a member of the Public Education and Information Committee for New York State. Dr Renne has had a state position for 9 years. She serves as a panel physician for various pharmaceutical companies and lectures at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine to students in the medical profession. Dr. Renne is currently performing research in the area of Dematopathology of the foot and Ankle as well as fungal nails and ulcer care.
Dr. Renne is on staff at St. Joseph Hospital Wound Care Center in Bethpage where she works with wound care and hyperbaric medicine as well as all aspects of podiatry including neuroectomy procedures, Platelet Rich Plasma injections and Pednet vascular testing, diabetic maintenance and control with limb salvage. She is also on Pro Health, Brook Plaza Surgical Center, Interfaith Medical Center, Mount Sinai Hospital, Gramercy Surgical Center and West Fifth Surgical Center. Dr Renne has been a wound care panel physician for the past 2 years.
Dr. Renne is dually board certified in wound care. She is a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American Board of Wound Healing. Dr. Renne is also an associate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is board Eligible. Dr. Renne is currently an associate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is board Eligible. She is well liked and respected by her peers and is often referred difficult cases from her colleges in wound care and surgery.
Dr. Renne is a native to Long Island, growing up in Franklin Square. She went to H. Frank Carey High School and was a member of the Honors program and attended Adelphi University in her last year. She also took the SAT at age 12 through John Hopkins and was invited to attend their University. Dr. Renne graduated from St. Johns University in 2002 with a B.S. in Biology and a dual minor in Pre Medical Sciences and Italian. During her schooling she has attended both the Queens, NY and Rome, Italy Campuses. In 2006 she graduated with high honors in Genetics from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (a division of Columbia University Medical Center) with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. She then went on to a two year surgical residency at Caritas under director Dr. Michael Dellacorte at St. Vincents Hospital, St. Johns Hospital, Mary Immaculate Hospital, Staten Island Hospital, Wykoff Heights Hospital and New Island Hospital-now St. Josephs Hospital. Dr. Renne received her Hyperbaric certification in 2012 from Winthrop Hospital.
She practices all aspects of Podiatry, Podiatric medicine and Surgery. Scott C. Gawlik, DPM
Doctor Gawlik is involved in all aspects of podiatric care. Having received a soccer scholarship in conjunction with his undergraduate degree, he understands the many aspects of sports medicine and how It relates to the foot and ankle. As chief resident he underwent extensive training in diabetic foot care including wound care management and limb salvage. Since his residency he has remained on staff continuing to lecture and educate the foot and ankle surgeons of the future. The office has a direct correlation with the NYM wound care center and team of doctors to heal some of the most difficult cases of diabetic foot pathology.
The doctor is board certified in foot surgery and works together with his partners to provide the highest quality and outcomes in elective and non-elective surgery. He offers the most up to date techniques available. Part of the surgical experience is being able to communicate easily with the patient and his positive results reflect the patient's full understanding of both the pre and post-operative courses. Being a father of three young children he enjoys the experience of dealing with the pediatric patient. The latest advancements in foot and ankle biomechanical assessments have aided the doctor in correcting many foot conditions as the developmental stages take place.
